The first premium will be charged on the first premium instalment of the fourth month of your policy. For annual payments, the three months free will be deducted from your first policy year premium at the time of purchase. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Family and Friends Referral Program (“the Program”) offered by Pet Insurance Australia Pty Ltd ABN 85 113 507 850 (“PIA”). By participating in the Program, participants agree to the following terms:
1.0 Eligibility
1.1 To participate in the Program as a referrer, you must be an existing PIA customer with an active in force policy (“Referrer”).
1.2 Employees, agents, and representatives of PIA and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Program.
2.0 Referrals
2.1 Referrers must provide referrals of PIA Pet Insurance in the format provided by PIA between 12:01am AEDT, 1 January 2025 to 11:59pm AEDT, 30 June 2026 (“Referral Period”).
2 A referral is valid only if the referred customer:
purchases a new PIA pet insurance policy through the referral link provided by the Referrer during the Referral Period; and keeps the policy active and pays all premiums due for 120 consecutive days without changing their level of cover, cancellation, lapse, or overdue payments.
2.3 There is no limit to the number of referrals a Referrer can make. However, only the first valid 10 referrals in the Referral Period are eligible for the referral reward in clause 3.
2.4 Referrals must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and Referrers must not use spam, fake accounts, or other unethical methods to generate referrals.
3.0 Referral Reward
3.1 For each valid referral made during the Referral Period, the Referrer will receive a $50 Amazon gift card fulfilled by 212F Pty Ltd (“Reward”).
3.2 The Reward will be issued via email to the email address on file within 30 days after eligibility of the referral is confirmed. The Referrer acknowledges that they will only be notified by PIA of successful referrals which are eligible for the Reward.
3.3 PIA accepts no responsibility for lost, misdirected or delayed Reward emails.
3.4 The Reward is subject to third party terms and conditions available here: <URL>.
3.5 Rewards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
3.6 PIA reserves the right to offer a substitute reward of the same value should the requested reward not be available.
3.7 PIA reserves the right to withhold or revoke rewards if there is evidence of abuse, fraud, or non-compliance with these Terms.
4.0 Referred Customers
4.1 To participate in the Program as a referred customer, you must use the Referrer’s unique link prior to purchasing a PIA Pet Insurance policy during the Referral Period.
4.2. Referred Customers will receive a $50 Amazon gift card fulfilled by 212F Pty Ltd (“Reward”).
4.3 The Reward will be issued via email to the email address on file within 30 days after eligibility of the referral is confirmed. The Referred Customer acknowledges that they will only be notified by PIA of successful referrals which are eligible for the Reward.

5.0 Privacy
5.1 By participating in the Program, participants agree that their personal information may be collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with PIA’s Privacy Policy.
6.0 General
6.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
6.2 PIA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice.
6.3 In the event of termination, valid referrals made before the termination date will still be honoured in accordance with these Terms.
6.4 All decisions made by PIA are final with respect to all matters relating to the Program and no further correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
6.5 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
6.6 To the maximum extent permitted by law, PIA is not liable for any loss, claim, cost, expense, liability, or injury suffered by any person in any way associated with the Program including the unavailability or provision of any rewards.
6.7 Pet Insurance Australia policies entered into for the first time prior to 8 May 2023 and subsequent renewals of those policies are issued by The Hollard Insurance Company Pty Ltd ABN 78 090 584 473, AFSL 241436, arranged and administered by PetSure (Australia) Pty Ltd ABN 95 075 949 923, AFSL 420183 (PetSure) and promoted and distributed by PetSure’s Authorised Representative (AR) Pet Insurance Australia Pty Ltd ABN 85 113 507 850, AR 326233 (PIA). Pet Insurance Australia policies entered into for the first time on or after 8 May 2023 and subsequent renewals of those policies are issued by PetSure and promoted and distributed by PetSure’s AR, PIA.
