Absolutely incredible service to the absolute highest standard. Pay back is immediate, gap cover is accepted, and in general the nicest most caring humans. I could not support my precious dog without their support. Could not recommend highly enough.![]()

My normally very healthy, happy 16th month old chihuahua suddenly became very ill and had to be rushed to the animal hospital. After lots of tests and an overnight stay plus a week of strong antibiotics, she is now back to her normal lovely self. PIA accepted all the claims and processed the payments whilst I was still at the hospital. I could not be happier with the service I received from PIA.![]()

Only need to pay the gap, prompt claims and high proportion of costs covered- wouldn’t be without - so grateful for PIA for our golden retriever- wouldn’t be without - highly recommend!![]()

We have been insured with Pet Insurance Australia for our dog Ella for about 4 years now. The claiming process is extremely easy online and we usually receive our rebate within a day or so. Most recently we attended Sash Veterinary Hospital and they were able to process our claim for us so we only had to pay the gap payment. I would highly recommend Pet Insurance Australia.![]()

Meet Emily and her energetic Border Collie, Jasper. After dealing with unexpected vet bills from her last dog’s allergies, Emily knows the value of being proactive. Determined to be ready when life happens, she opts for maximum cover to keep Jasper protected in every adventure. With his love for chasing tennis balls, exploring muddy trails, and investigating every new scent, Emily feels confident knowing her spirited sidekick is covered.
| Annual benefit limit | $35,000 |
|---|---|
| Benefit percentage (reimbursement) | 90% |
| Annual Excess selected | $0 |
| Optional add-ons: | Booster Care (for specified dental conditions and specialised therapies like physio and prescribed medication for behavioural conditions) + Routine Care, non-insurance benefit (to help with eligible non-insurance everyday wellness items like vaccinations). |
Emily’s past experience taught her that vet bills can escalate quickly. A $0 annual excess means there’s no upfront deductible on eligible claims (though a lower excess can mean a higher premium), and a 90% benefit percentage keeps her out-of-pocket costs manageable. Adding Booster Care and Routine Care (non-insurance benefit) provides extra peace of mind for Jasper’s active lifestyle and breed-specific needs.
